Mr. Durante

Hi! I am Mr. Durante. I am a business teacher here at Nottingham High School, I am also the Head Varsity Boys Soccer Head Coach.

My educational background: I attended Monroe Township High School, graduated in 2015 and went to Brookdale Community college majoring in Early Childhood Education and Business Management. After a year, I transferred to Palm Beach Atlantic University in Palm Beach, FL where I continued my Business education as a Small Business Entrepreneurship major. I am currently in a Masters to PhD program through the American College of Education based out of Indianapolis, IL.

After graduating from PBA, I moved to the beautiful Kerr County, Texas to work in a medium sized Foster Care ranch. It was an amazing experience where I learned all about taking care of children from all walks of life. After spending around 4-5 months there, I decided I wanted to take my experience, to the classroom. I returned to NJ and went back to working for the YMCA as a Site Supervisor until I finished getting my Alternate route teacher certification. After getting my certification I taught at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High for the remainder of the school year as a long-term sub. I began working for Nottingham High soon after, and I am glad to be here!

Today, I continue my passion for working with students and children. I coach a soccer team in Central NJ and I travel all around the world working with kids from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. My biggest hobby is soccer. When I am not in school, chances are you will find me on the soccer field. I coach the Nottingham JV Boys team and I also work as a coach for Shatliff Soccer based out of Manalapan and Monroe Soccer clubs.
