Assistant Director of Technology

As a former middle school Social Studies teacher, I have spent the last few years at HTSD as a member of the Instructional Technology Facilitator team.  I came to the Hamilton School District as a lifelong resident and product of its public schools. I have always had a passion for technology and love to find new and exciting tools to utilize in the classroom. I think utilizing technology to create and collaborate will give students skills that will be necessary for them to succeed in the future.

As the new Assistant Director, I want to make sure our Technology Department works collaboratively with the Department of Curriculum & Instruction to provide the best resources and professional learning throughout the district. I hope to inspire teachers to try new things that engage students in using technology to create and discover the world. I hope to offer a unique perspective as a former classroom teacher that understands the need to blend pedagogy, content, and technical skills in the lessons teachers are looking to implement in their classrooms.
