Degrees and Certifications:

Brenda Siracusa

My name is Brenda Siracusa. I am a forever Hamiltonian. I attended Sunnybrae School, Grice, Reynolds, and finally Steinert High School. I have always wanted to be a teacher, so I attended Trenton State College, now called The College of NJ. I have been teaching in Hamilton Township since 1989. I began teaching at Alexander School, moving to Robinson, and then Mercerville School. During this time I taught Kindergarten, second, third, fourth, and fifth grades. Every grade was different and exciting. After so many years in general education, I decided to try something different. I went back to The College of NJ, where I received my ESL teaching certification. In January I began my 7th year as an ESL teacher. I have taught so many wonderful students. It is great to see them grow into productive adults and leaders in their communities.

I still live in Hamilton with my husband Joe, my children Robert, William, and Emilia, and my 2 cats, Tilly and Daphne. Robert graduated from TCNJ and works for The NJ Department of Enviromental Protection. William graduated from Stockton University and works for the NJ Department of Family Services. Emilia is a senior at Montclair State University studying theater studies. After graduation, she will be continuing here education to receive a masters degree. She hopes to work and live in New York City someday soon. If you see me about town, please stop and say, "Hi".
