I have always been a Hamilton resident. I graduated from Hamilton Township Schools (Mercerville, Nottingham Junior High & Steinert HS).  I also graduated from The College of New Jersey with a dual degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education, with a specialization in Business and English..  I have taught ELA at Reynolds for the last 16 years and I love doing what I do!  I am married to my husband, Carl and we have 3 grown children, 2 grandchildren and a dog,Toby.  My daughter is getting married this spring and our family is looking forward to that happy celebration!

I am available most days after school to talk.  Please send me an email to set up the best time to talk if you have any questions.

 Independent Practice Grading Guideline:

1. All Independent Practice Assessments are worth 4 points

2. All IPs are expected to be completed properly by due dates

3. Late deadline is 1 week past the original due date (As long as we have not reviewed the answers in class)

4. After late deadline, IPs will not be accepted

Point Breakdown

4 points - By due date & properly completed - full credit

3 points - By late deadline (1 week after due date) & properly completed or on-time but missing some information

2 points - By late deadline and/or missing information

1 point  - By late deadline and/or missing most information

0 points - Not received by late deadline - Final Grade is 0/F  (cannot be made-up)

If we review HW answers in class then late work may not be submitted because we have already given the answers in class.

If a student is absent, he or she is expected to make up the work, but will be given extra time equal to the number of days out of school.

For extended illness/missed school days, we will discuss directly with the student &/or parent to find the best way to catch up on the work missed.
