8th Grade ELA
Hello and welcome to my website. This year is my 26th year as an ELA teacher at Reynolds Middle School. I am looking forward to an exciting new school year; one that looks like years of the past.
I believe students learn best when they feel safe, understood, and comfortable in their environment. My classroom has set expectations that I will enforce to ensure learning and growth take place. My goal is to prepare your child for high school- both socially as well as academically.
Please contact me with any questions or concerns you may have. Communication is an integral part of every school year. I will be using a variety of different platforms to present lessons and assess knowledge. Please check my website, Google Classroom, email, and PowerSchool. Let's make this the best year yet!
Attention Parents/ guardians:

Students will be given 1 WEEK to complete and submit a formative or summative assignment. Teachers will use their discretion about dropping points for late assignments. If not handed in for partial credit after one week, the assignment will receive a Zero.
Assignments that are not submitted on time will have a “0” placeholder UNTIL the assignment is completed and submitted. Once a grade is placed, the Zero is removed.
