7th Grade Math
My name is Ms. Gladis and this is my sixth year at Reynolds Middle School! I graduated from Rowan University in 2017 with my bachelors in Education and Mathematics and a certificate of Teachers of Students with Disabilities. I am looking forward to assisting my students in mastering all the skills we are going to be learning this year.
I believe that all students are unique and have their own ways of learning and understanding. My mission is to make sure that each individual child is reaching their maximum potential and having fun while doing it. My hope is that all students will learn to love and enjoy math and feel comfortable coming to class each and every day.
This school year I expect all students to:
- try their best
- come to class each day willing and ready to learn
- exhibit positive classroom behavior everyday
This year, in 7th grade, we will be building on all of our foundational skills. We will build onto previously learned skills and topics as well as learning new ones. Our topics for 7th grade math are: proportional relationships, rational number operations, one and two step expressions, equations and inequalities, geometry of circles, statistics and graphs to compare data, understanding probability and how to apply it. We will be using different learning styles to gain a greater depth of knowledge for each lesson and chapter.
We are going to make this a great school year!
