Hello, I am Mrs. Morales! This will be my 20th year as a teacher and I will be starting my 11th year at Reynolds! I will be teaching 6th Grade ELA and Science!! My goal is to help your child develop the academic skills and character needed throughout middle school to transition from elementary school to high school! My expectations are that each student will be respectful and responsible towards their peers and adults.I look forward to meeting each of you on September 8th and I am looking forward to a wonderful and successful school year!!

HOPE: Hamilton Opens Pathways to Excellence
Students will learn techniques and strategies needed to become independent readers. We will read the novel, "The Breadwinner", and other short stories while focusing on story elements. We will learn new vocabulary and figurative language. Students will write narrative, persuasive, and formative essays. They will conduct research on various topics.
Students will be learning basic concepts in physical, earth, and life science. In physical science, we will be learning about forces. In earth science, we will be learning about astronomy and the earth's surface. In life science, we will be learning about cells and heredity.
