Welcome to the 2022 - 2023 School Year!

I hope everyone enjoyed summer break and feels ready and refreshed to jump into a new (and hopefully "normal") school year.

This year I will be teaching English 10 (Honors and A-level) and Tomorrow's Teachers (11th/12th grade elective course). 

All Class Announcements and Class Assignments will be posted on our Google Classroom. If you have not yet been invited to our Classroom, please email me and I will send you the class code. (lburg@htsdnj.org)

Mrs. Burg's English Class

English 10: Some of our bigger reads include To Kill a Mockingbird, Twelve Angry Men, The Kite Runner, and Julius Caesar. We will also be writing (lots!) and participating in lit-based projects that require critical thinking and creativity. There will also be opportunities for "Choice Novel" work, which means you get to dig into some of the contemporary reads you love so much.

Tomorrow's Teachers: Be ready for lots of presentations, projects, and an internship!

• Looking for Class Assignments or Homework?  Google Classroom is your virtual locker. All assignments will be here. If you are absent, you should check Classroom for missed work. (All students were sent an invite to join this year's GC during the last week of August, 2020. )

• While you will utilize your school issued device to complete all online work, be sure to sync your phones to your Hamilton Gmail address, sign up for notifications, and download all Google apps so you never miss a due date. (And, since I know you were all avid Classroom users during Remote Learning, this is probably already synced, right?)

• Parents, you are welcome to join our Google Class as well. Please just send me your email and I will send you the invite to join. Looking forward to a great year working together!
