The Symphonic Band is the foundation of our music program. It is a yearlong comprehensive music course. The ensemble rehearses during the school day and performs three times a year. These performances consist of a Winter Concert, a "Music in Our Schools" concert and a Spring Concert.

The Hornet Jazz Band is a performance-oriented group designed to further develop our student musicians at Hamilton High School West. Students accepted into the ensemble are introduced to a wide range of jazz literature to enhance their knowledge of improvisation, theory and the history of jazz.

The Hornet Marching Band has a proud heritage of musical excellence since the school's beginnings. Our Marching Band performs in the US Bands Circuit, in local parades and around the country.
