Mr. Jim Fillmore

Mr. Fillmore graduated from Westminster Choir College in 2000 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and in 2005 with a Master of Music in Voice Pedagogy and Performance.  He was the Choral Director at Lawrence High School from 2000-2014, and began teaching at Hamilton West in the 2014-15 school year. 

As a student at Westminster Choir College, he spent 3 years in the Westminster Symphonic Choir and was privileged to perform with the New York Philharmonic, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Dresden Philharmonic, and the New Jersey Symphony.  As a member of the Westminster Choir for four years, he participated in the Spoleto USA Festival in Charleston, SC, and enjoyed several concert tours in various parts of the country.  He was a founding member of the Westminster Kantorei, a small ensemble with a focus in early music.

In addition to music, Mr. Fillmore enjoys travel and scuba diving.
