It is with a sense of pride that I introduce myself as a Nottingham teacher. I have been an English teacher since 2000. I started my career in Charlotte, North Carolina. When I moved back to New Jersey, I began working at East Brunswick High School. From there, I spent two years at North Brunswick High School.
I started at Nottingham in 2005. I am a Hamilton resident and all three of my children attend Hamilton Township schools. Over the years, I have recieved my Masters in Students with Disabilities. This venture was brought about when my boys were diagnosed with autism. One of my boys has a myriad of challanges along with aspergers. This has opened my eyes to the plethora of challenges our students with disabilites face. I am my childrens' biggest advocate and strongly feel a sense of fate has brought me to my current vocation as a special education teacher here at Nottingham. As a parent and a teacher, I am aware of what our students need to be successful. I understand the importance of parent involvement and encourage communication. Students with disabilites face challanges that are unique to their diagnosis. I am aware, prepared, and motivated to help your child to be the most successful he/she can be in my classroom. I love my job. I especially love my job as a Northstar teacher. Go Northstars!
