Mrs. Gore
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Home Economics from Glassboro State College (Rowan University). After graduation I worked 17 years as an Office Manager for a state of the art technology firm. Upon the company being purchased by Acer and relocating to California, I knew the time had come to pursue my true passion of teaching.
In 1998 I began teching at Hamilton High West. In the fall of 1999, I split my time between West and Steinert as our program really started to grow in enrollment. In 2000, I was asked to join the Spartan team full time!! I have really enjoyed my time teaching young men and women how to read a recipe, prepare food for themselves, and work safely in the kitchen.
My husband and I have three grown children and now have 4 grandchildren. Andrew (age 5) and Katherine (2 year old) live in Florida. Thank goodness for technology so we can talk each week, and Andrew loves when I can read him a story. Owen (4 yrs old) and Emilia (3 yrs old) live in the township with my daugher and son in law. They love when Grammie and Grandpop come over to visit and play.
I am also the Faculty Advisor for the Baking Club. We meet in October each school year to organize and schedule baking days for November and December. The club makes desserts for families receiving food baskets for the holidays.
