Ms. Wagenman

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! My name is Karisa Wagenman and I am an ASHA certified and state licensed speech & language pathologist. This will be my fourth year at Hamilton Township School District and University Heights Elementary School. I am thrilled to be back working with the students at UH!

I was raised in Manalapan, NJ and currently live in Freehold, NJ. I always knew I wanted to work with children, but it wasn't until 10 years after receiving speech & language therapy myself that I realized I wanted to become a speech & language pathologist. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and my Master of Education degree with a specialization in speech-language pathology from Monmouth University. I have experience working in public schools, private practice, acute rehabilitation, and acute care. I currently work with both children and adults in the public schools and private practice setting.

My primary form of communication is my district email, which is I welcome you to email me at any time to express any concerns or questions you may have at any point in the school year! I look forward to working with you and all my new students this year to achieve wonderful success in the areas of speech and language!
