Welcome to Miss Hansen's Math Class!
Our main focus will be primarily the student’s IEP Goals and Objectives. Our class will focus on studying the number system by reviewing multiplication and division of single digit and double digit numbers, fractions, decimals, order of operations, rounding and estimating, solving equations with variables, etc. We will also solve mathematical and real-life word problems using numerical expressions. Learners will use a multisensory approach to improve in areas. Learners will also work collaboratively to apply math reinforcement skills. Students will be given a participation grade as part of their individual practice. All of these topics will be explored through projects and other engaging tasks. Educational games and computer program use may be included in their work week if time permits.

Students will be given 1 WEEK to complete and submit a formative or summative assignment. Teachers will use their discretion about dropping points for late assignments. If not handed in for partial credit after one week, the assignment will receive a Zero.
-
Assignments that are not submitted on time will have a “0” place holder UNTIL the assignment is completed and submitted. Once a grade is placed, the Zero is removed.
