Ms. Natalie Mischlich
Welcome to Ms. Mischlich’s Home Page!
This is my second year with the Hamilton Township School District. I will be teaching Art Fundamentals and Ceramics and Sculpture at Steinert High School.
After graduating from Rowan College at Burlington County (RCBC) with a degree in Fine Arts, Ms. Mischlich attended Elizabethtown College, receiving a degree in Art Education. She has taught at the elementary and high school level.
Ms. Mischlich wants her art room to serve as a safe, welcoming space where students can be creative and take risks with their art. She encourages students to explore art in their own way and discover their individual artistic style. She encourages students to work through the artistic process, which includes brainstorming, sketching, researching, creating, editing, and reflecting. These are all key aspects that lead to deeper thinking while creating, allowing students to find what they are truly passionate about and what they love creating.
Although Ms. Mischlich loves all different types of art, Ms. Mischlich is super passionate about ceramics. She loves to create pieces of clay that are functional that her friends and family can use. Along with making pottery, Ms. Mischlich also enjoys hiking/fishing, playing/watching sports, playing with her rescue dog named Waffles, and hanging out with friends and family.
Ms. Mischlich is looking forward to a great school year!
