Ms. Kimberly A. Davis

Hello, my name is Kimberly Davis and I am a Special Education Teacher here at Nottingham High School North.  I have been teaching in various capacities for nearly 30 years.  I began my career as a private tutor/teacher for students who were homeschooled and those who needed extra help in Philadelphia, PA, after graduating from Rutgers University-New Brunswick campus.  At the same time, I was a medical social worker.  I then served in various jobs as a school social worker, and a mental health social worker.

I continued to tutor in the evenings and weekends, until I became the full-time proprietor of a tutoring business which lasted for over 25 years.  I then returned to school at Saint Joseph's University and obtained a Masters of Science in Education and Special Education.  .I have been teaching children at all levels and I love what I do, especially students with disabilities who think they are unable to learn.  The drive and passion to see students learn at various levels is why I get up in the morning.

I then decided to return to school to further my education because what I learned was not enough to help children with learning disabilities succeed and become successful in whatever field they choose.  I returned to my alma mater, Rutgers University-New Bunswick campus, to pursue a license as a Learning Disability Teacher-Consultant (LDT-C).  I completed my program in December of 2021.  I am looking forward to continuing to use my expertise and knowledge to support students with learning disabilities. To contact me, please use the following email: and please check Google Classroom for student announcements, homework, classwork, quizzes, tests, and projects.
