The philosophy of guidance and counseling at Reynolds Middle School focuses on the individual student. Counselors assist their students in recognizing their academic potential and strengths through an individualized developmental approach and work to address the social/emotional needs of their students. At Reynolds Middle School, all students are accepted as unique individuals of worth and having personal, social, academic, and career needs. Through individual student planning, responsive counseling, small and large group guidance, and coordination and consultation with the family, school and community resources, counselors work to assist all students in becoming the best individuals they can be.   

Reynolds Middle School has three counselors, one Student Assistance Counselor, and a Child Study Team (learning consultant, school psychologist, and social workers).
